These examples are calculations based on VLAIO's cybersecurity rates. VAT is not subsidised, and support already used in the same calendar year reduces your available ceiling.

How can JViT help?

From technical findings to a plan you can approve.

Since 1 February 2026, only cybersecurity advice is eligible under the advisory service. The project must produce written advice that helps your company decide and implement.

Main conditions

When can your advisory project be eligible?

Your company must fall within the European SME definition, have an eligible legal form and main activity, and have an establishment in the Flemish Region. According to VLAIO, liberal professions and recognised custom-work companies may also be eligible.

Written outcomeThe project includes analysis, advice, an implementation plan and a personalised advisory report.

Apply on timeSubmit your application from the date of the agreement and no later than fourteen calendar days after the services begin.

How the application works

Four clear steps.

Discuss your advisory question with JViT
We check whether the request qualifies as cybersecurity advice and record the scope, start date, price and outcome in an agreement.

Submit your application online
Apply through the online business portal or the VLAIO app, no later than fourteen calendar days after the start.

Pay your own contribution
Your contribution must reach the SME e-wallet account no later than thirty calendar days after the online application.
04
Receive advice and pay through the e-wallet
After the project, you receive the written advisory report. The invoice is then paid through the SME e-wallet.
